As a Kiwanis International affiliate, KCOT was chartered on February 20, 1952, with Kiwanis Club of Valley of The Sun Phoenix as the sponsor.
Today, the Club is the 25th oldest, continuous Kiwanis club in the Southwest District, made up of Arizona, New Mexico and metro El Paso, Texas. It is the 10th oldest Club in Arizona and the fourth oldest in Maricopa County after the Kiwanis of Phoenix (1917), Litchfield (1940) and Valley of the Sun Phoenix (1947).
For over sixty years, KCOT has met on Thursday afternoons to receive the joy of fellowship, and plan community service projects and fundraisers. Through determination and effort, Kiwanians have raised over $2 million for children and the community.
KCOT is an outstanding service club, rife with rich traditions and history. It looks to new members who have a desire to contribute to the betterment of the community, and carry forward a legacy of compassionate giving. KCOT is a non-profit charity organization.
